Violent incident occurred shortly after midnight at Patission street, in the center of Athens, when members of anti-authoritarian groups heading from Exarchia square to Patission street set fire to a bus and a trolley and after setting fire to waste bins, they entered National Technical University of Athens and remained there.

The anti-authoritarians started throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails to the squads of riot police deployed at the scene. The police responded using tear gas. After a while, the antiauthoritarians left the building.

The fire service also rushed to the scene to put out the fire.
