People make bets about things like shaving their heads or wearing their opponents’ jerseys, but 36-year-old Argentine model/actress Eliana Guercio, wife of Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero, has taken things one step further. She promised that she’ll loan her husband to pop star Rihanna if Argentina goes on to win the World Cup final against Germany on Sunday.

Mrs. Guercio, who is in Brazil supporting her man, said “If we win the World Cup, I will let her have him for a week!”

The fiery Guercio, who came to prominence in her country after performing fully nude on a TV show, says that this is one way of motivating her husband to keep his mind on the game, even though we still don’t know if Rihanna would accept the bet.

The choice of Rihanna isn’t a coincidence as she has already gone public on Twitter regarding her support of the player from Argentina who became a national hero after his heroics in a penalty shootout saw his country progress to the World Cup final at the expense of Netherlands.

Footage appeared that showed the goalie stuffing a piece of paper down his shorts just before one of the penalties. People joke that it may have been a note from Rihanna.
