The EuroGroup Ministers are convening in Luxembourg, Monday to discuss whether the first review of the Greek bailout program, signed in August 2015 with the country’s creditors -the European Stability Mechanism and the EU member-states, will be completed. The EuroWorking Group (EWG) met earlier to decide on if Greece had implemented the 15 prior actions, in accordance to the compliance report. The Greek side is optimistic that the review will get the ‘green light’ today, after the meeting between Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and European Commissioner on Economy, Pierre Moscovici in Washington. The Greek government estimates the full sum of the 2.8bln Euro sub-tranche will be released today, contrary to rumours from Eurozone sources that it would be disbursed in portions. Upon arriving Pierre Moscovici shared the Greek side’s optimism that the 2.8bln Eurosn tranche would be released today, adding that all prior actions had been met by Greece.
