Prominent Golden Dawn MP Yiannis Lagos led a group of ultranationalist supporters in an attack on a primary school in Perama, close to Athens, Tuesday, after it was announced that classes would be given to refugee children at the site. The far-right protesters could be seen attempting to throw punches at people on the site, reportedly threatening members of the local association of parents and guardians. General Secretary of the Greeks Education Ministry Yiannis Pantis hit out at the attack, stating that racism did not belong in schools.
