Mario Frangoulis-Elli Paspala at Veakio Theatre

Frangoulis and Ellie Paspala will perform on stage some of the greatest songs of Greek cinema

An amazing concert will take place tonight at Veakio Theatre, featuring melodies that left their mark on the Greek cinema.

After a successful tour in the U.S., Classical music singer Mario Frangoulis returns to Greece for a series of concerts with a Greek touch. Frangoulis and Ellie Paspala will perform on stage some of the greatest songs of Greek cinema reminding us of melodies of great Greek performers.

Accompanied by five talented musicians and with David Lynch’s orchestrations, the two singers will perform songs that left their mark on Greek cinema, which this year celebrates its 100 years of existence.

The show will include beloved melodies by Hadjidakis, Theodorakis, Tsitsanis, Markopoulos, Xarchakos, Plessas and many more, which were featured in films like “Phaedra” “Madalena”, “Red Lights”, and “Stella”.

Concert info

The concert starts at 9.30 p.m. Tickets are priced at 15 euros and presold at 12 euros at www.viva.gr on 11876 or at Public, Papasotiriou, Seven Spots and Ianos bookstores.
