More than 800 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of military operation in Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian emergency services.

Today early in the morning Israel fired at a car in Khan Yunis in southern Gaza Strip killing at least one man, according to Palestinian medical staff. The fragments of the missile destroyed a house in the same area.

Israeli security forces shot dead two Palestinians on Thursday night during a massive protest in the West Bank, just north of Jerusalem, where over 10000 people participated clashing with soldiers and border police.

According to international media, at least 15 people have been reported killed and 150 injured in the bombardment of a UN school in Beit Hanoun , northern Gaza which was used to shelter civilians from fierce clashes on the streets outside.

Robert Turner, the director of UNRWA, told Al Jazeera that there was no warning from the Israel before the attack.

Also, he added that the Israeli forces knew that this was a school and was used as a shelter for Palestinians, adding that this is the fourth attack on facilities of the humanitarian organization.

Turner stressed that he had severely criticised the Palestinian groups for using UN schools to hide fighters and weapons and added that he has no information about whether there was military action of Hamas in the surrounding area.

“We always call on all parties to ensure that civilians are not harmed.”, he said.

At the same time, an eyewitness told Al Jazeera that people remained in school because they had been told that this is a safe place.

“By God, there was not a single fighter, not a single shot was fired from the school. Why did they shoot at the school? Why? Can someone explain that to me? Why would they shell the school?” another witness said.

At the same time, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported that many children have been transfereed to the hospital suffering from injuries in the legs, arms, chest and said that “children are terrified by what happened”.
