The weather is expected to be worse today, with showers and thudnerstorms almost everywhere in the country, according to the National Weather Service.

The problems of the bad spring weather are many. Yesterday, in Thessaloniki, heavy rains created many problems, while at Kammena Vourla, the beaches turned white by sudden hailstorms.

Today, Thrace and Macedonia are expected to see clouds with rains and local thunderstorms, with the phenomena weakening at night. Temperatures will reach up to 20C.

In Epirus, the Ionian islands and western central Greece, there will be rains and thunderstorms. The phenomena will be quite accentuated in the mountainous regions. Temperatures will reach 22C.

In Crete, similar phenomena are expected, with westerly moderate winds and temperatures up to 23C. In the Dodecanese and Cyclades there are clouds and localized rains of thunderstorms.

In Thessaly, eastern central Greece and Evia, there will be rains and thunderstorms especially in the afternoon. Temperatures will vary between 11 and 22C.

In Attiki, the weather will be rainy especially during the afternoon, when thunderstorms are also expected. Temperatures in Athens will reach 21C.

In Thessaloniki, there are clouds expected, with thunderstorms and a temporary improvement in the weather in the evening. Variable winds between 3 and 4 on the Beaufort scale with temperatures between 13 and 19C.
