Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin laid bare his feelings about what he thinks of America by tweeting a picture to demonstrate the “different values” held by the leaders of Russia and the U.S. One picture showed Russian President Vladimir Putin holding a small leopard in a cage next to a photo of the U.S. President Barack Obama posing in a studio with a small white pooch.
The tweet said, “We have different values and allies.”
President Putin is famous for projecting his masculine image while riding topless on a horse, training in judo or with the army.
The tweet hit below the belt shortly after the U.S. and the E.U. implemented new sanctions against Russia’s energy, weapons and finance industries following the recent Malaysian Airlines tragedy where officials were unable to have access to the crash site for days after the incident.
President Putin hasn’t publically responded to the sanctions.
