The deadly conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza Strip seems to has been a source of inspiration for some people, who believe that have a great sense of humor, and developed relative applications for Android which could be downloaded via Google Store.
Both games have caused outrage on social media, therefore Google announced that the applications are withdrawn from Google Store.
The first game was called “Bomb Gaza” and was uploaded to Google Play on July 29, according to the newspaper Independent. In less than a week, the application was downloaded more than 1,000 times before it was removed on Monday. Although the game is no longer available, there are several screenshots showing that the players have to bombard Gaza in order to hit the fighters, although the photos do not show civilians in the streets.
The second game was called “Gaza Assault: Code Red” and was uploaded on July 17. The players had also to shell Gaza to destroy terrorists, while there were no civilians appeared in this game, too.
