A Hellenic Airforce (HAF) T-2E Buckeye training airplane crashed in the Kalamata region.
According to the first information, the two pilots ejected from the aircraft at 12:02 and were rescued by a HAF Search & Rescue (SAR) helicopter moments later.
The crash took place two nautical miles south of Kalamata airport.
The aircraft belonged to the 363 Air Training Squadron of the 120th Air Training Wing.
The causes of the crash are being investigated.
