A little Palestinian boy was killed and three more were wounded during the Israeli air strike near a mosque in Gaza, the first death reported since a 72-hour truce expired, according to Palestinian medical sources.
Israeli government official said earlier that Israel would not negotiate with the Palestinians for the renewal of the truce in the Gaza Strip, while Hamas still fires rockets.
Earlier today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the army to respond violently to Hamas attack.
“The renewed rocket attacks by terrorists at Israel are unacceptable, intolerable and shortsighted,” said Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, a spokesman for the Israeli forces. “We will continue to strike Hamas, its infrastructure, its operatives and restore security for the state of Israel”.
