A small village in Canada is facing a big problem, these last few days: a whale is about to explode on its shore!

A dead whale washed up on Trout River’s rocky beach at the beginning of the week and now the residents are trying to find a way to get rid of the carcass before it explodes.

The whale is believed to have died in heavy ice a few weeks ago and its belly got so bloated with methane that now it resembles a huge balloon.

The villagers are upset and afraid of what will happen if the carcass explodes, but the local authorities don’t have the resources to remove it.

Last year a sperm whale carcass that washed up on the Faroe Islands exploded and the video became viral.
