The main objective was achieved. Greece with the victory over Puerto Rico, the third in three games in the group secured qualification to the next phase of the World Championships taking place in Spain.

The Greek players although they faced difficulty in some parts of the game by militant Puerto Ricans have shown that they have the talent and seriousness to reach far. This of course will depend on the two remaining games against Croatia and Argentina.
