The CEO of the National Bank Mr. Alexandros Tourkolias suggested that strengthening the Greek economy can be achieved through the formulation of a national memorandum.

Further, among others the CEO stated that the National Bank is scheduled to extend its credit policy according to Mr. Tourkolias… initial statement, while he added that the economic recovery of Greece is a reality and that the recession is over. However, he said that “the last painful historical chapter of the crisis will close when the issue of unemployment is solved”.
Finally, according to Mr. Tourkolia this is the first time in the last 6 years that “we are able in a realistic base to vision the next day for Greece”.
