Autumn has come, as Saturday experienced the first heavy rains, especially in Athens. Although no problems have been reported –such as flooded basements or roads- the water is still falling in some areas, signaling the end of the summer.

The National Weather Service issued a Special Bulletin of severe weather warnings on Saturday at noon. According to the forecast, rain and hail will fall in many parts of the country, well into Sunday.

Temperatures will not exceed 31 degrees Celsius.

Some improvement in the weather will be experienced on Monday, whereas Tuesday will see the sun shining once more, with a chance of precipitation in the highlands.
