The Development and Competitiveness ministry decided to speed up the payment of 30 million euro funds of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) to the third quarter from the fourth quarter in an effort to accelerate the absorption of the funds of the programme “Support of SMEs operating in manufacturing, tourism, trade, services”.
The Deputy Development Minister Odysseas Konstantinopoulos signed the decision. As it is referred to Athens Chamber of Tradesmen’s website, this decision does not only facilitate the continuation of funding for the project, but it also gives investors the possibility to quickly absorb twice the amount at the end of the third quarter, totalling 60 million euros.
Moreover, the Deputy Minister approved 10 million euro funds for entities promoting Digital Convergence projects and particularly projects for the “support of businesses to implement investment projects aiming at developing and providing innovative products and value added services (ict4growth)”.
