Singer Dakis passed away at the age of 78, after a hard battle with cancer.

The singer’s health condition had recently deteriorated, as his good friends had made known.

In fact, at the beginning of May, he had to be treated in a private hospital.

Although for the past two years he has been trying to give courage to all cancer patients, his state of health seems to have been quite fragile.

The news was made known through her personal Twitter account by his good friend and wife of Mimi Plessa, Lucilla Plessa-Carrer.
