Since Wednesday afternoon and up untill now tension prevails in the Greek detention facilities where reportedly detained migrants which in majority have no papers, rebelled demanding their release.

About a 100 rioters refuse to return to their cells while they keep shouting slogans in favor of their release.

Some are said to have lit a fire in the yard, while three prisoners which passed the 18-month detention, have climbed the fence of the facilities with  loops around their neck and threaten to commit suicide.

Negotiators and psychologists of the Police Department are trying to dissuade the immigrants, while police forces Platoon of riot police and men of DIAS team are there as well.
