Glezos: “Yes” to a coalition government with New Democracy – PASOK, provided they change their mind regarding the memoranda…

While he believes that SYRIZA will be able to form a single party government in the future national elections, he does not rule out an alliance, not even with the parties of the current coalition government, if such a decision is supported by the people’s mandate!

Greek resistance hero and SYRIZA candidate in the upcoming European elections, stated in an interview with “Eleftherotypia” that even if SYRIZA is able to form a single party government, the party will still seek alliances. His views however on the possible “composition” of an alliance were surprising: “If ND and PASOK change their mind and their attitude regarding the memoranda and want to support a government of the Left, why not?” said Mr Glezos when asked which parties could SYRIZA form an alliance with.

SYRIZA candidate went on to add that he sees no reason why this cannot happen.
The only party with which he rules out the possibility of a post-election alliance is Golden Dawn. Manolis Glezos also stressed that despite the polls forecasting a close race, he is optimistic for SYRIZA’s results, as the party “has its own indicators”.
