In the hands of ruthless criminals was the family of fuel trade entrepreneur Panagiotis Kaldis, when four armed foreigners invaded their house in the area of Voula.

The trade entrepreneur was tortured and burned in the face with an iron, while the armed men tied up his wife and two daughters aged 14 and 16.

The son of Mr. Kaldis stated to protothema.gr that his father is burned on the cheek and ribs from an iron that the housekeeper at the time of their invasion was using. “I can hardly recognize my father from the beating” added the still in shock son of trade entrepreneur. What he can’t figure out is how they manage to get in the house.

Afterwards they searched the house, took from the volt 100.000 euro, jewelry, a further 20.000 euro lying around the house, while they left with Mr. Kaldis BMW.

Neighbors heard screamings in the middle of the night and called the police which arrived after the criminals who according to information were foreigners, had left.

One of the scenarios that the police is investigating is that the men may belong to a group of Georgians which in an almost identical way had previously invaded the house of a doctor and had tortured his family members.
