Creativity, fresh ideas, desire for hard work and mainly great love for design. These words could sum up the meaning of the second marathon Designathon.

50 young designers, from 18 to 33 years old, were gathered at Found.ation site at Petralona, Athens and worked for two days submitting 24 creative proposals for the overall visual communication of non-profit organization Boroume.

“The basic challenge for us, the organizers, was to manage to bring together the world of graphic and the world of digital design so as to address a common challenge” Yannis Sklavos explains. “This year, creative minds from both areas came together under one roof to develop and create innovative design works. We are very happy that Designathon has been established as an important source of highlighting new talents and we thank those who have contributed to this”, he added.

The contestants had also the opportunity to meet with representatives of leading digital agencies and creative offices, who provided guidance and consultation throughout the course of their effort.

The winners of this contest are Haris Behrakis and Yannis Pelelis.
