Homicide detectives are investigating the scene of a brutal homicide at Kaisariani Park, 5 kilometers east of Athens, where a man was found murdered in the early hours of the morning.
The unknown man, aged between 35 and 40 years, appeared to have been stabbed with a sharp object, possibly a knife, and had died from wounds to his chest and stomach. There were a total of three wounds.
The man was dressed but had no form of identification on him.
According to an eyewitness account, the man was around 1.8 meters tall and had long dreadlocks. From the position of the arms, the lifted shirt and dirty heels it was obvious that he had been dragged to the scene where he was found, said the eye witness.
He was found this morning by a motorcycle driver on a ditch near Dimitris Karamolengou Street. The driver encountered the man’s lifeless body across the road of the cemetery and immediately notified the police.
