Emil Storm: The 11 areas at risk of sudden floods today

From the afternoon, the strongest wave of the storm - Dust is coming with strong southerly winds

New information about where the Emil storm will hit in the coming hours was provided on Thursday morning, recording the 11 areas at risk of “sudden floods” from 19:00 this afternoon until tomorrow morning, Friday.

The strong storms brought by the Emil storm over the next 48 hours will initially hit this afternoon in:

  • Ionian Islands
  • Thesprotia
  • Ilia
  • Achaia
  • Trikala
  • Karditsa
  • Macedonia (Pieria, Imathia, Pella, and western areas)
  • Evrytania
  • Aetolia-Acarnania

Regarding tomorrow (Friday), Mr. Tsatrafyllias estimates that from noon until Saturday morning, the following areas will be affected:

  • Larissa
  • Pieria
  • Imathia
  • Pella
  • Thessaloniki
  • Chalkidiki
  • Corinthia
  • Cyclades
