Trikala: The Pinios River swelled dangerously – Disasters caused by the bad weather in Kalambaka (video and photos)

Heavy rainfall in the Regional Unit of Trikala has swollen rivers and streams, putting the relevant services on alert.

The local authorities in Trikala, due to the rainfall, have set up dikes as the Pinios river has swollen dangerously while concern prevails in Valamandri where they are reinforcing the dikes.

There is also damage in the mountainous area of Kalambaka.

Also, in the area of Paleochori Trikala, paddocks have been blocked. Today’s bad weather is building on the footprints left by Daniel.
