According to the findings of a survey conducted by Jetcost.co.uk, a flight comparison website, which were published by the British Telegraph, one in ten Britons admits to having had sex at an airport, while waiting for a flight.

Among the favorite activities to pass the time in airports, eating and drinking was the most popular (79%), followed by reading (52%), and duty free shopping (30%).

And, surprisingly enough, 9% of the 2,521 respondents admitted that to having a sexual encounter while waiting for their flight at an airport!

The company that conducted the survey claims that “the most popular place in which people joined the ‘airport club’ in such a way was ‘airport toilets’ (76%), followed by ‘storage area/room’ (21%).

Moreover, anyone who claimed they’d had sex in an airport was asked why they had done so, to which 32% said they were ‘in the holiday spirit’ and 27% said that they wanted the “thrill” of not knowing if they’d get caught.
