According to reports, the representatives of Troika will arrive at Athens at the end of the week and are expected to start the evaluation by checking the data with the minister of Finance, Labour, Administrative Reform, Development, Environment and Health.

The evaluation works will begin next Monday, whereas the message sent by EU, ECB and IMF is Greece to manage to fulfill the 600 prerequisite in a month, if we want to receive the remaining tranches of 2014 and start the debate on the Greek debt.

The government officials, though, have realized that they are now in a difficult position as far as the negotiation works is concerned following the recent equity prices drop. The goal of Greek government is to receive a positive progress announcement by Eurogroup in November and to have the evaluation completed by December 8, ie Eurogroup’s last meeting, so as to pave the way for any decision to be taken for the Greek debt in December summit.
