Torrential rain caused chaos in Athens.

From approximately 15:30 noon ,a wave of storms affected mainly the western suburbs causing huge problems.

In the areas of Peristeri, Nikaia and Ilion in the West of Athens the streets turned into streams, while in some locations the water level surpassed the 50 cm.
