The fire that broke out in a forest area in Mount Falacro and specifically in Kato Nefrokopi of Drama is ongoing for the second day today.
The operation involves 32 firefighters with nine vehicles and two hiking teams, while a helicopter is carrying out water drops from the air.
In the area, there is partial rainfall which makes the firefighting work more optimistic.
