The first lawsuit against Malaysia Airlines was filed by the two children of a passenger of the fateful flight MH370 which disappeared last March while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

The two boys aged 13 and 14 years filed the lawsuit in the Supreme Court of Malaysia suing the head of the Civil Aviation Authority, the Immigration Board and the airline.

The young men are seeking financial compensation for their father’s loss of life and their own mental anguish that they suffered, while arguing that the airline has violated any agreement guarantying the safe transportation of their father to Beijing.

The 41 year old father Yang Zi- Zingk was on the fateful flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, which was carrying a total of 239 passengers and crew members and disappeared on the 8^th of March 2014.
The disappearance of the aircraft was one of two major disasters in the year 2014 for the Malaysia Airlines which will be privatized by the end of this year.
The crisis of this airline deteriorated on the 17^th of July, when another jet flight MH17 was shot down over Ukraine, killing all 298 people on board.
