An unbelievable incident happened on Thursday night (5/9) in Igoumenitsa, when a motorcyclist was confronted by an unexpected “passenger” at the wheel of his motorcycle.

According to thespro.gr, the driver, while returning from work on his Virago motorcycle, felt a sudden blow to his arm.

Looking up on the move, he realized that a snake had wrapped itself around the handlebars, its head resting on his arm.

Despite his initial agitation, the motorcyclist was able to stop the motorcycle safely and drive away.

The snake slithered into the bike. Fire Department men immediately rushed to the scene, who with coolness and professionalism, managed to locate and remove the reptile.

The motorcyclist, visibly relieved by the immediate intervention of the firefighters, thanked both the rescuers and “someone above us”, acknowledging his good fortune to emerge unscathed from this unusual adventure.
