Armed Forces: Artillery exercise in Megara with observed firing – Photos

The training involved a total of 29 Second Lieutenants and 26 Sergeants

Training shots with self-propelled howitzers M109A1B-A2 were carried out by the trainee Second Lieutenants and Sergeants of the 2024 class from the basic sections of the Artillery School, from November 4 to 6 at the Megara firing range, as part of their basic training.

As announced today by the Hellenic Army General Staff, during the firing exercises, an evaluation of the trainees was conducted, and it was found that they demonstrated a high level of training in the processes of standard artillery battery deployment, fire data determination, and execution of observed fire missions.

A total of 29 Second Lieutenants participated in the training, including 3 from Cyprus, and 26 Sergeants, including 5 from Cyprus.
