Prime Minister Antonis Samaras held a phone conference with Republic of Cyprus president Nicos Anastasiades on Wednesday, prior to US Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to Cyprus.

Biden is expected to arrive in Cyprus late on Wednesday.

Anastasiades briefed Samaras on the views he will be expressing, regarding the Cyprus issue as well as energy issues, adding that he will stress the need for cooperation between Cyprus, Greece and Israel.
