Hatzidakis’ agenda for 2025: 10 bills and 14 reforms for the economy

Changes in property and business taxation, innovations that will bring tax relief, attract new investment and further boost incomes

With a bill that will be introduced in Parliament almost every month, the government is attempting sweeping changes to the economy in 2025. With fiscal stability as its compass and growth as its goal, the economic staff is moving ahead with reforms that will pave the way for more tax cuts, changes to property and business taxes, attracting new investment and further boosting incomes beyond the increases that will be given next week to pensions and the minimum wage and to the civil service that will be announced in April.

Kostis Hatzidakis’ blue envelope for 2025 includes 10 bills and 14 strategic initiatives which, among other things, will include:

■ A new type of system of control and utilization of government spending.
