In statements he made, the leader of the party, Stavros Theodorakis, who arrived to Heraklion on Saturday, gave his own explanation to expedite discussions on the presidential elections.

Mr. Theodorakis stated that Mr. Samaras could not settle the country’s problems and he resulted in bringing presidential elections up sooner, whereas he also stated that SYRIZA is the party which has been chronically been betting on the country’s failure.

He, however, stated, that thankfully many of our countrymen realize that they can’t keep focusing on the right-wing and left-wing mistakes, and will choose a better option.
