In the presence of the country’s state, political and military leadership, the “New Year’s Eve” doxology was held on Wednesday morning at the Metropolis of Attica, presided over by Archbishop Hieronymos.
Among others, the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the President of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis, the president of SYRIZA, Socrates Famellos, the regional governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, and the mayor of Athens, Haris Dukas.
The House of Representatives was represented by the first deputy speaker, Yannis Plakiotakis, as the body’s president, Konstantinos Tasoulas, was diagnosed with coronavirus.
