Two injury incidents occurred today at the Agia Sofia metro station in Thessaloniki, both due to falls from stairs.
Specifically, around 13:00, a 90-year-old man lost his balance and fell, hitting his head.
The 90-year-old was immediately transported by an EKAB ambulance to AHEPA hospital, unconscious.
Half an hour later, at 13:30, a 70-year-old woman also fell from the stairs of the same station, injuring her lower limb.
The woman was transported to Genimatas hospital for further care.
The circumstances of the falls are under investigation, and the condition of the injured individuals has not yet been disclosed.
