On the morning of Friday, February 28, families of the victims gathered at the site of the Tempi disaster, with a memorial service for the 57 lives lost scheduled for 12:00 PM.

The atmosphere at “ground zero” of the tragedy is deeply emotional, as parents and relatives of the victims relive the heartbreaking memories.

“I feel the same every day. This is my grandson’s home,” said the grandfather of the late Konstantinos Tasoulas. “We demand justice. We are immensely grateful to all the people who have taken to the streets.”
