Hadjivassiliou for myOEY.live.gov.gr: We facilitate Greek exports and foreign investment in our country

The new service was implemented in the framework of the cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Governance

Newsroom April 9 07:50

“We are facilitating Greek exports and foreign investment in our country by harnessing the power of digital technology with tangible tools for extroversion,” said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion, Mr. Tassos Hadjivassiliou, on the occasion of the launch of the new digital platform myOEY.live.gov.gr.

The new service was implemented in the framework of the cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Digital Governance and is part of the joint efforts of Mr. Tasos Hadjivassiliou and Mr. Dimitris Papastergios to enhance the extroversion of the Greek economy.

Through myOEY.live.gov.gr, businessmen and investors have the opportunity to schedule digital appointments and hold videoconferences with specialized officials of the Economic and Commercial Affairs Offices (ECOA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, without physical presence. Interested parties can obtain information on issues related to exports, setting up a business, investing in Greece, resolving trade disputes, or participating in development programmes through a secure and encrypted channel. The service is initially operating on a pilot basis for the CIO Offices in Toronto, Buenos Aires, Beijing, Johannesburg, Belgrade and Rome, to gradually integrate the entire global network of 51 CIO Offices.

In his statement, Mr. Hadjivassiliou noted:

“MyOEY.live is a modern tool for extroversion and support of entrepreneurship in Greece. In practice, we facilitate Greek exports and foreign investments directed to our country. In close cooperation with the Minister of Digital Governance, Dimitris Papastergiou, we offer an integrated digital service that brings Greek entrepreneurship closer to international markets and enhances the country’s image as an attractive investment destination.”
