Movehub website published recently a map showing the difference in living costs around the world.
Based on figures taken from the world’s largest database of user-contributed data about cities, the map reveals that the 3 most expensive places to live in are Switzerland, Norway, and Venezuela, while the 3 countries with the lowest cost of living are India, Nepal and Pakistan.
Greece ranks somewhere in the middle, with a living cost similar to that of Russia and Spain.
It should be noted that the Consumer Price Index, used to determine the difference in the living costs between the countries, takes into account the prices of groceries, transportation, restaurants and utilities.
