Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred, among other things, to the evaluation process during his statements following his visit to the Ministry of Education.
After stating that evaluation “is a new process that has not yet produced the required results,” he made it clear that “if someone fundamentally refuses to be evaluated, they should not have a place in the public education system.”
At the same time, Mr. Mitsotakis expressed his satisfaction, saying, “I heard that proposals from the Education Institute are being considered for a reasonable reduction in curriculum content, so we can emphasize quality over quantity.”
The Prime Minister also reminded that “since 2019, we have added 39,000 permanent teachers. Significant interventions have been made, including a technological upgrade with 36,000 interactive whiteboards funded by the Recovery Fund.”
