After floating to the dock, some passengers managed to disembark from the side rails, while the rest of the passengers were able to disembark with the basket of the fire brigade's ladder truck

Newsroom April 26 11:17

An incident occurred at the port of Igoumenitsa when a ship sailing from Lefkimmi, Corfu, experienced a problem just before docking. Specifically, as the captain was attempting to open the catapult to align with the dock, it broke, under as yet unknown circumstances.

According to voria.gr, the incident occurred with the ship a short distance from the dock, causing the captain to stop the mooring process. In consultation with the port authority, the assistance of the fire brigade was requested for the safe disembarkation of the passengers.
