In a heated discussion during the plenary session of Parliament, Adonis Georgiadis and Zoe Konstantopoulou clashed over clothing choices, specifically pants and skirts.

Konstantopoulou addressed Georgiadis, referencing his remarks about people wearing pants, and responded: “I heard you yesterday referring to those who wear trousers. Let me tell you that skirts have dignity and respect, often much greater than what you demonstrate when you talk about who wears briefs and who wears trousers. Don’t you respect anything? This particular MP attacked one of your staff members, and I was the first to defend her.”

Georgiadis confirmed that he challenged Polakis to face defamation lawsuits in court to prove that he “wears pants,” but denied making any comments about other types of underwear.

He stated: “The president said I referred to skirts. Find it in the minutes. I only mentioned the phrase ‘if you wear pants.’ Ms. Konstantopoulou, you said I referred to a skirt or a thong. Find where I said that in the minutes. Otherwise, you should apologize,” the minister concluded.
