Thriller in Pagrati: The man who was found burned in a car was lying down on the seat – Video of the first minutes of the fire in the jeep

The body was in such a state that the police officers in charge of the case could not conclude whether or not he was wearing clothes

Newsroom May 8 09:56

The identity of the man found dead after a fire broke out in a car in Pangrati shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday remains a mystery.

The man, who was found burned to the extent that his gender could not initially be determined, was lying in the passenger seat.

The body was, in fact, in such a state that officers assigned to the case could not conclude whether or not he was wearing clothes.

A mobile phone was reportedly found next to the car, which is being examined to see who it belongs to and whether it has any connection to the case.

Initially the Fire Department was notified of a car fire in a deserted spot near the Mets indoor basketball court. The eight firefighters who rushed to the scene in two vehicles found that the body of an unidentified man was inside the Jeep, specifically in the passenger seat.

The body remained at the scene until the early hours of the morning as the investigation continued with all possibilities, including that of foul play, open.

It should be noted that the car, according to an eyewitness, had been parked in the same spot since noon on Wednesday and has foreign, red-colored license plates – with the format (three numbers followed by three letters) referring to Belgian license plates.
