US President Donald Trump assured yesterday Sunday that ongoing talks between the US and Iran over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program are “very good.”
“We’ve had very, very good talks with Iran,” Mr Trump told reporters in New Jersey before boarding the presidential jet to return to Washington. “And I don’t know if we’re going to announce something good or something bad in the next couple of days, but I have a feeling it’s going to be something good. We’ve made real progress, serious progress,” he added.
The fifth round of Oman-brokered indirect negotiations was held in Rome on Friday.
