Thessaloniki: Arrests for heroin trafficking – Hidden in their homes and car trunks

Two individuals were arrested by the Narcotics Unit of the Crime Investigation and Resolution Department of Kilkis for drug trafficking. Following coordinated efforts, authorities located and seized a total of six packages containing heroin, with a combined weight of 729.5 grams.

The first man was initially spotted inside a vehicle, where a package of heroin weighing 13 grams was carefully hidden in the trunk. A subsequent search of his home in the Imathia region led to the seizure of three more packages of heroin, weighing 223 grams, along with a digital precision scale.

Shortly afterward, the second man was located in an area of Thessaloniki while driving a vehicle. He was found in possession of a package of heroin weighing 490 grams, which he had previously received from the first suspect. A police search of his home in Imathia uncovered another small package of drugs, weighing 3.5 grams.

The two suspects will be brought before the public prosecutor of Veria, following the case file prepared against them.
