More than €750 million has been spent by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) under the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0”, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU, according to an official announcement by DYPA.
Specifically, as of June 26, 2025, DYPA had made total payments amounting to €768,759,817.53.
Of the total expenditures, €711 million (93%) relate to active labor market policies, such as wage subsidy programs for the creation of new jobs and continuous vocational training initiatives aimed at acquiring and upgrading the skills of the country’s workforce.
Additionally, €30 million (4%) was allocated to strengthen DYPA with employment counselors.
