An orange toxic cloud has covered Igualada near Barcelona, after an explosion at a chemical factory.

According to international news, three men have been injured, while local authorities call citizens to stay in their homes and close every window, since the toxic cloud is spreading.

According to the local Catalan government, the explosion was caused to the mistake mixing of two chemical compounds during their transfer to a warehouse belonging to “Simar” company.

The orange toxic cloud is spreading from Igualada to Barcelona. The chemical compounds are nitric acid and ferric chloride.
