For the second time this week the Turkish grand assembly turned into a ring of pugilists, with MPs of the ruling AKP party trading blows with opposition deputies.

Sharp disagreements over a controversial draft bill promoted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to which police will enjoy more powers against demonstrators, triggered the melee.
As a result one opposition MP was thrown down a flight of stairs, but thankfully wasn’t injured.
