The successful completion of negotiations for  the approval of the  Greek program by the European Commission , enables the direct financing of the economy through  NSRF  funds over the period 2014-2020, which adds up  to the  amount of 26 billion euros. According to the Greek newspaper ” Kathimerini”, the Ministry of Development has secured early ” bonus ” of 2 billion euros from the new NSRF as a front-loaded funding for the period 2014-2015 .

This development will allow our country to record resources  of the new NSRF on time ( and even from the first year , 2014 ) ,  in conjunction with the funds already ” in the process ” from the previous NSRF , the resources that the country will absorb over  the biennium of 2014-2015,will reach 8 billion.

The early funding is very important for Greece, considering  that it used to take up to 2 years for the resources of each new program to reach us, after a series of approvals of individual  programs .

During  2014 the plan is to launch new  actions for employment , education and training of young people , support vulnerable social groups , tackling poverty , support the unemployed business creation , hiring young unemployed in charitable work , as well as residential energy upgrade through program ” Save at Home ” .
