Israeli and Qatari media reported Tuesday that Hamas may hand over the bodies of “several hostages today, following pressure from Israel.
The information was reported by Qatar’s Al-Arabi channel and Israel’s Channel 12.
It was announced at the march that the Palestinian terrorist organization will hand over four bodies around 22:00 (Israel and Greece time). It is not clear which hostage bodies will be returned.
Earlier today, Israeli authorities decided not to open the Rafah border crossing between the Gaza Strip and Egypt on Wednesday, as required by the ceasefire agreement.
Israel has accused Hamas of failing to keep its commitment to return the bodies of all the dead hostages still being held, estimated at 20; only four had been handed over yesterday, infuriating the Israeli side.
